Happy New Year!

We have had a crazy couple of weeks. We set out for Christmas in Ohio and ended up on the side of the turnpike calling 9-1-1. Ryan came down with a terrible stomach virus, we visited the emergency room at Fulton County Medical Center, and spent the night in a pretty questionable hotel. We made it to Gamma and Papa's with our sick girlie the next afternoon and deloused the station wagon.

On Sunday Ryan was baptised at church with the Aunties standing up as her godmothers. She wanted nothing to do with Pastor Beth, but was certainly intrigued by the congregation. After her nap she had a visit from Natalie, Mike, Evvie, and Santa Claus himself. Santa had dollies for the girls and Evvie was even brave enough to actually sit on his lap--such a big girl! Later that same evening, after a few too many blueberries our Tink got sick again...no fun at all.

We opened presents with the family on Christmas eve. She got a ton of toys, clothes, musical instruments (yes, the drum is her favorite), and books. Including a super-cute kitchen set with pots, pans, plastic food, and even eggs! We spent some quality time with the Johansens and the Achters, but not before Ian got sick himself. The perfect end to our visit...

I thought that I had escaped the dreaded virus after two days back at work, but woke up on Saturday morning sick. We pushed through the long weekend running errands, retrieving Jack from camp, and grocery shopping. Then, last night we went over to Nana and Pop's house for Christmas #2 and dinner. We had a fun time watching Ryan feed her new dolly a bottle and "ride" her sled.

Thanks for a wonderful, if not totally healthy, holiday everyone! We love you!

"we" certainly did push through the long weekend. "we" had no trouble at all picking up presents, getting Jack, going grocery shopping and cleaning the house.

and secondly, its not a "station wagon." Its a awd turbo sport wagon.
My wife is officially banned from posting in this blog.
