Under construction...
As of yesterday morning, our kitchen is officially a construction site. Our favorite contractor Wade has set up shop and we are getting a kitchen that will bring our little stone cottage into this century--additional square footage and dishwasher included!
We have moved in with Nana and Pop for the duration and Tink could not be more thrilled with her luck--all the Barney and lollipops her little heart desires! Jack is staying with our friend Brenda and we fear he may choose her over us when this is all said and done...
Here are some pictures at the end of day three!

Whenever Mommy would stock up Tink's diapers, she would throw the empty diaper box onto the back porch for Daddy to throw out with the trash. Like clockwork. Today, Daddy came home from a trip to Home Depot to find an empty box of Pull-ups on the back porch. Realizing that his little baby girl is growing up, and with a tear, he put the Pull-up box in the trash and went inside to see his big girl. Enjoy the pictures of our little (big) Tink.

Snow day...
On Wednesday Tink had a snow day with Mommy. We stayed in our PJ's all day, ate hot dogs with ketchup for lunch, received a special Valentine's Day package from Grammy and Papa (thanks!), and saw two cardinals having a snack at the bird feeder.
While dancing with her new froggy from Grammy and Papa that plays "You're So Unbelievable," our girlie delivered a classic line. To set the stage, she was dancing on the rocking chair in her bedroom.
Mommy: "Ryan, please be careful."
Ryan: "Relax Mom!" with little hand raised in my direction for emphasis
Mommy: Laughing hysterically
Ryan: "Relax Mom!" this time just to get a laugh...

A long weekend...
Our girlie had a fun three day weekend. She was the perfect party guest at her friend Nola's 2nd birthday--running around the Little Gym like a maniac, eating four pieces of pizza and a cupcake, and even asking politely for a yellow balloon. Today she spent MLK with Daddy--they watched Alice in Wonderland, played in the snow with Pop, ate chicken nuggets and french fries at McDonald's, and even visited with cousin Sophie.
Here's our Tink in her pink sweatsuit coloring Cinderella orange and taking her baby for a backpack ride to the kitchen.
